Join Matthew McCord from the Job Accommodation Network (JAN) to explore the types of services JAN provides, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) interactive process, and a review of some of the types of accommodations that can be requested under the ADA.

Matthew joined the JAN staff in April 2015, where he fields questions from employees and employers regarding their rights and responsibilities under the ADA. He also helps identify solutions for people with mobility impairments.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Fairmont State University in West Virginia, a Master of Science degree in rehabilitation counseling from West Virginia University, and is also a certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC).

Highlights include:

  1. What services does JAN provide that could help you?
  2. What is involved in the ADA interactive process?
  3. What are some common workplace accommodations?

To reserve your spot, simply RSVP for the free (max one hour) presentation. You’ll receive an email from GoToWebinar with a link to logon, and you’ll be able to watch on your computer and listen via phone (or your computer’s speakers). The GoToWebinar system includes a way to ask questions, too.
